Yellow-rumped Warbler (Setophaga coronata) hiding in an Aspen tree. Observed during a walk in Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. While working part time in Boulder, I would spend time in Rocky Mountain National Park almost every weekend. It gave me a chance to try out various camera/lens combinations to capture images of the wildlife in the park. For this image I used a Nikon D2xs camera and 105 mm f/2.8 VR macro lens. Several Brandt’s Cormorants (Urile penicillatus) along with a Brown Pelican and unidentified Gull on a guano covered rock. Viewed from Carmel beach north of Bodega Bay on the Sonoma coast of California. Gone to See America 2009 road trip.
